Mixing Within the Limit: SPL Applications for FOH Engineers (Level 1)
Mixing Within the Limit: SPL Applications for Front of House Engineers.
This is a Level 1 session, hosted by Rational Acoustics and taught by Michael Lawrence with special guest(s).
This session is a crash course in SPL techniques for FOH mix engineers. After learning the basics of SPL, we’ll take a tour through Smaart’s powerful SPL toolset. Then we’ll cover advanced applications that FOH mixers can use to closely examine their own mixes and achieve full, impactful, dynamic mixes even when bound by level restrictions. Finally Michael will lead an open discussion on how to apply these techniques in mixing.
